KAYANOYA Instant Chawanmushi Savory Egg Custard Soup makes it easy to prepare traditional Japanese chawanmushi (savory steamed egg custard) at home using just one egg and 200ml of lukewarm water.
The base features the rich umami flavor of Kayanoya bonito dashi, complemented by simple ingredients including yuba (tofu skin), dried shiitake mushrooms, and mitsuba (Japanese parsley). When combined with egg, it creates a delicate, savory custard with a smooth texture and well-balanced dashi flavor.
Each 8.7g pack prepares approximately 2 servings, making it a convenient way to enjoy freshly steamed chawanmushi without preparing dashi from scratch.
