The selected tea leaves are finely ground using a traditional stone mill, producing a smooth matcha powder with a gentle sweetness and refreshing tea aroma.
Versatile enough for both drinking and culinary use, this Uji matcha can be whisked traditionally, prepared as a matcha latte, or incorporated into cakes, chocolates, desserts, and cooking. The generous 100 g resealable pouch makes it particularly convenient for regular matcha drinkers, home baking, and tea ceremony practice while helping protect the powder between uses.
Product Use
For Traditional Matcha:
1. Place approximately 2 g of matcha into a tea bowl.
2. Add approximately 60-70 ml of hot water at around 70-80°C.
3. Whisk briskly with a bamboo whisk until smooth and lightly frothy.
4. Enjoy immediately.
For Matcha Latte:
1. Sift approximately 2-3 g of matcha into a cup.
2. Add a small amount of hot water and whisk until smooth.
3. Add warm or cold milk according to preference.
4. Sweeten if desired.
For Baking & Cooking:
Add the desired amount to cakes, cookies, chocolate, ice cream, smoothies, sauces, or other recipes for authentic Uji matcha flavour and colour.
